SKINBASE Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a system of intense exfoliation and resurfacing using ultra fine crystals that rejuvenate the skin. The crystals work as a gentle abrasive on the skin to remove dead skin cells layer by layer. The vacuum action of the machine stimulates the circulation and promotes increased blood flow to the area. The production of collagen and elastin is stimulated, which results in a firmer, more youthful looking skin.

Growing up my parents sacrificed a lot to ensure I got a good education and reached my full potential, my school reinforced this belief in becoming the best version of you and helping others achieve this too.
After over 20 years of extensive medical training in medicine, surgery, plastic surgery, and emergency medicine I developed an interest in aesthetic medicine and realised this would become my outlet for helping people become the best version of themselves.
With a national reputation for a natural style, using the latest and best techniques as well as creating my own cross tenting lip technique, I have also become known for taking on complex filler repair work culminating in me winning Highly Commended Aesthetic Doctor of the Year 2018 as well as being shortlisted for a number of other awards. My desire to better myself and others sees me continuing to attend as much teaching and training as possible, developing my own teaching courses, being invited to teach for some of the most prestigious aesthetic training companies and becoming a mentor for the Masters in Aesthetic Medicine at Northumbria University.

HOW LONG DO EXTEND LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
With immediate results, Extend lashes can last up to 6 weeks but with regular infills every 2-3 weeks they can last longer.
HOW DO EXTEND INDIVIDUAL EYELASH EXTENSIONS WORK?
To create Extend lashes, a Nouveau Lashes qualified lash artist uses a 1-on-1 technique to apply one individual lash extension onto one of your natural lashes, resulting in beautiful sets of semi-permanent lashes. Our individual lashes come in a range of lengths, curls and weights so your lash artist can create customisable looks that are tailored to your unique eye shape, resulting in an authentic set of natural looking eyelash extensions. You’ll have a consultation to determine what bespoke looks they can create for you and once your treatment begins, you can relax whilst your lash artist transforms your lashes.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AN EXTEND TREATMENT
Individual eyelash extensions are a closed eye treatment, so you'll need to close your eyes fully whilst your lash artist works from behind your head. They will apply all of the appropriate protective wear including tape or lash pads to separate your lower lashes and protect your undereye from the tweezers which are used to separate each lash. Classic lashes are known for adding a subtle but effective enhancement to create beautiful, natural eyelash extensions – if you are wanting a fuller look, try our Hybrid or Russian Volume.

How does the LVL Lash Lift work?
To create the Length Volume Lift effect, our lash-health first products are applied step-by-step by a qualified lash artist. Following on from your patch test and consultation, the lash artist will apply the appropriate shape shield to your eyelid and your lashes will be pressed against this using a bonding gel.
How long does LVL Lash Lift last?
With the right aftercare, lash lifts can last up to 8 weeks and will grow out with your natural lash cycle.
What to expect during an LVL Treatment
Step 1: Lift
With all the lashes neatly bonded, a lifting balm is then applied which allows the structure and shape of your lashes to change and be lifted at the root
Step 2: Volumise
Once this has been removed, a 2-in-1 volumising fix and tint is applied, sealing your lashes into their new shape and adding volume and definition.
Step 3: Balance
A pH balancing serum is applied to the lashes, strengthening from within and coating from the outside to help protect, increase shine and prevent over-processing.
Step 4: Moisturise
Finally, a moisturising serum is applied to nourish the lashes, help lock in tint colour and ease them off the shield, revealing beautifully healthy, lifted lashes. Enriched with a film former, it helps to instantly hold the new curl while your lashes are still settling into place.

MD Treatments are usually performed every 7 to 10 days for optimal results.
